Fra Thy til Thailand

In northeastern Thailand lies a village with two types of families. Those who have a daughter married in Thy, and those who do not. The former live in large concrete houses, the latter in small wooden shacks. Sommai is the queen of the town. She works as a factory worker in North Jutland, but now she is back in Thailand, where young girls flock around her. They hope she can help them get to Denmark through marriage to a man from Thy. 'From Thy to Thailand' is a sequel to 'From Thailand to Thy', which described the terms of love between Danish men and Thai women in Thy.
