Darek is a 51-year-old man who has transformed his life — he became a Buddhist monk in a small monastery in South Korea. The documentary footage of the monastery’s daily life is accompanied by excerpts from Darek’s mother, who struggles to come to terms with her son’s change of religion and his departure.
